Paris has a crazy life, by day and night. I  enjoy Paris by night very much. With all those lights used as ornaments on  edifices, trees. It glitters all around. that's so magic and worth to be seen.
With no doubt, le Palais de l'Elysée is the the biggest tourist
attraction as the President lives there and it looks like the White House in Washington D.C. but with a French touch and architecture. Second, it would be the Eiffel Tower. Then, depending on tourist's interests, Le Louvre attracts a lot of people as it is the biggest Museum in France.

French people are so proud of it, even to report that Michael Jackson was refused to get a visit for himself (he wanted to buy all the tickets to be alone and in peace...in vain.). Finally, le Chateau de Versailles (a famous French Castle)nearby Paris and surrounded by a fantastic and wild park is also mostly visited. For nostalgic tourists of the american way of life, the Disneyland Paris is always opened til late night.
If a friend were to come to visit me, I love so much being on the beach that I would take them in the South of France, in St-Tropez, Cannes...etc. It's well-known all over the world for the Cannes Festival. It looks like the Oscars but in a most international way. If you want to spot stars , you must to be there. There are  beautiful beaches and palm trees. It sounds like Miami...and having fun.
14 juillet (July, 14), is our biggest holiday because it's to celebrate the national mind
and solidarity. It looks like Independence Day for the military show that is on air in the meantime. le 11 novembre (November, 11) for World War I victory and the 8 mai (May, 8) for the World War II victory. My
family and I do nothing special apart from resting as a day off.

As all big cities of the world, people have to go to work to keep markets and Wall Street alive. So, during their free time, they spend it the way they want it to be. To me, I really enjoy rollerskating, running in a beautiful park called 'Sceaux' that is 5 minutes driving down south from Paris. It's good to let your hair down while breathing fresh hair(even when it's cold).

As a child in France, you might be surprised that I'm not so original as it's expected. I enjoyed doing girl stuff like playing with dolls, barbies and making up my
mother and  friends as a christmas tree!!!. There's no specific french game unless i've never been told about it so far.
French food is famous all over the world. One specialty is the Boeuf-Carottes. This dish is made with a lot of rice
and for the meat you have to cook beef with carrotts. It smells good. The other is the 'pot-au-feu' which enable peolpe to get warm during winter drinking up all the bowl of soup. It's a delicious soup with beef mixed
in (again!).Then, many regional dishes exists.
Football (soccer)is the most popular sport in France because it comes from streets. You won't see any bourgeois family playing soccer before their tea time!!! Everybody can identify themselves to it. It
stands for playing while having fun, team spirit, bravery and it's so simple to understand. It enables people to get together for the same cause. That's wonderful and magic.

Then, I would say cycling but I don't really know the reason except to talk about hardworking and guts.
Regarding people's perception on France-- it depends on the people's origins! When I once visited Quebec in Canada, they told me about racism that they say exists in France. When I go to New Yorks, I usually receive congratulations for our History, Castles, And great taste of culture. French peolple are perceived as well-cultured there. In L.A, French people are pointed out for smoking habits...etc. I do not smoke and most of people as well.  The difference is that anybody and any teenagers will be ticketed by the police for lighting a cigarette and sent to
jail!

One thing that I'm so proud of as a French person is The Statue of Liberty. I'm so proud that it's a french artist who made it for the Americans.

If there's something I'd like to say to everyone it's to Just be yourself and try to broaden your mind as much as possible. It is so good to discover how different kinds of people live and don't make a fool of them  if ever their culture and way of life look weird to you.
