We do different things in the winter, as it is not the warm weather that is the most typical !! mostly people have fun in going to movies, theatre, concerts or good restaurants ... there are lots and lots, and visiting of houses or places restaured, also jazz or concert café's or just good old bars/cafés where you can drink good espresso's or eat very good ice or cakes with a good warm coffee ... |
| For food, steak with french fries and tomatoes is mostly the national typical dish, but good salmon/oysters or other fish is also current, not so very spiced but rather sauced ... for people who like to eat, it's wonderful at the northsee side we have lots of fish, shrimp, trouts etc etc, with chips mostly, and good white or rosé wine... not to forget the belgian beers, very famous!!! |
