This name International Penfriends is used by many websites these days. I will be focussing on the original website which is a Irish founded company that was relocated to Australia.

Website: www.ipf.net.au

Current Owner :Judy Delbridge
Location: Suffolk Park, NSW, Australia

Club Type: Subscription Based

Penpal Type: Snailmail Penpals

Method of Joining: Online or Postal

How are penpals selected: Club selects your penpals based on your application form.

Other Products offered for Sale: Magazine, Letter writing booklet

Prices: US $2 per penpal on average.

This club is good for those interested in snailmail penpalling. An membership fee is required and upon payment you receive a list of penpals in the post based on the criteria specified in your application form.

You remain on the database for 12 months, during which time other penpals may receive you as a penpal on their lists.

After receiving your list, you can send introductory letters to those on your list asking if they would like to correspond.

Pro's
Established service, solid for snailmail penpals, guaranteed a penpal list. You may receive suprise letters in the mail. You can subscribe to a penpal magazine which is quite unique.

Con's
This service is quite expensive when you look at it on a per penpal basis. No guarantee that those people on your list will want to correspond with you. No free content offered by site. Cannot choose penpals on your list.

Summary.
Overall I would call this an ok penpal club. The club is well established but has unfortunately stayed a little behind the times by not moving their database of members online.
